Whiz Art Media Ltd ("GiggleTime," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Bulgaria (EIK 206971482), operates the GiggleTime website and application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have regarding it.

1. Data We Collect

Account information: email address (or username), authentication method (email/password, Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In), preferred language, account creation date.

Content you submit: jokes you submit, votes and favourites, any optional attribution/author name you provide.

Payment information: if you subscribe to GiggleTime Premium, payments are processed by Stripe and/or through RevenueCat. We do not store your full card details - this is handled directly by our payment processors. We retain records of your subscription status, billing history, and transaction identifiers.

Usage data: pages visited, jokes viewed, features used (including AI translation and text-to-speech usage, tracked for the purpose of enforcing free-tier limits), device and browser type, IP address, and approximate location (derived from IP).

Cookies: we use cookies for essential site functionality (login sessions, language preference) and, where applicable, analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the Service (account access, joke submission, voting, saving favorites)

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties, only as necessary to operate the Service:

RevenueCat - subscription management across web, iOS, and Android
Google Cloud (Text-to-Speech, and any AI translation provider we use) — to generate audio and translated versions of jokes
Apple / Google — if you sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies, and we only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within [30] days, except where we're legally required to retain records (e.g. payment/tax records) for longer.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

You can delete your account directly from within the app at any time, under Account Settings. This will remove your personal data as described in Section 4.

GiggleTime is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please get in touch with us so we can delete it.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including restricting access credentials (e.g. API keys and service accounts) to only the permissions necessary for their function. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. Google Cloud, Stripe) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
