Welcome to GiggleTime. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GiggleTime website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Whiz Art Media Ltd (registered in Bulgaria as Уиз Арт Медиа ЕООД, EIK 206971482), registered address m-t Peshterna Reka, 754V, Sliven, Bulgaria ("GiggleTime," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are located in a jurisdiction with a higher age of digital consent, the higher age applies.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

3. User-Submitted Content

Ownership. You retain ownership of any joke or content you submit to GiggleTime ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, translate, adapt, and distribute that content on and through the Service, including generating AI translations and audio versions of it.

Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content you post, and that it does not infringe on anyone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights. Submitting content you did not write and do not have the right to share (e.g. copyrighted material, another comedian's original material without permission) is prohibited.

Attribution. Where you provide an author name or attribution when submitting a joke, we will display it as provided. We do not independently verify the accuracy of attribution claims and are not responsible for attribution disputes between users.

Moderation. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, moderate, edit, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or violates these Terms. We aim to review valid reports of objectionable content promptly.

Reporting. If you believe content on GiggleTime infringes your rights or violates these Terms, please contact us at info@giggletime.app.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on others' intellectual property rights
  • Submit content that sexualizes or otherwise endangers minors
  • Attempt to manipulate voting, ratings, or moderation systems
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or extract content from the Service without our permission
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, paywalls, or security measures
  • Impersonate another person or entity

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features are available via paid subscription, billed monthly or annually depending on your selection. Subscriptions purchased via our website are processed by Stripe; subscriptions purchased via our iOS or Android apps are billed by Apple or Google respectively and subject to their own terms. We may change subscription pricing from time to time. If we do, we will provide notice before the change takes effect for existing subscribers, and continued use of Premium after that point constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Free Tier Limits

Free accounts are subject to daily usage limits on certain features (such as AI translation and premium text-to-speech), as described within the Service. These limits may change at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The GiggleTime name, logo, design, and underlying software are the property of Whiz Art Media Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our permission. This does not apply to User Content, which remains owned by its submitter as described in Section 3.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated translations or audio will be perfectly accurate. Jokes and content on the platform reflect the views of their submitters, not necessarily our own.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whiz Art Media Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
